i’m trying to find an easy fun easter recipe or craft appropriate for a kid in the age range of 12-15 to make for my parents!?
Just give me all of your ideas! PLEASE! Thank you
Buy a pot from the craft store and paint it. Put a spring flower in it that they can enjoy indoors, then plant it outside when it gets warm. Or, you can try to make them some chocolate eggs from scratch—they’ll love that you put the effort into making the perfect gift for them. Here’s a site with some great do-it-yourself gift ideas:
OK…if craft stores are still open, you can get some wooden eggs and use craft paints to decorate them. They won’t rot and you don’t have to "blow" real eggs…which can break.
Alternately, get small plants, potting soil, an easter basket…line it with black plastic (trash can bag), put the soil in and make a planter basket. This celebrates spring, new life at Easter.
As for food…they can make brunch. Heavy on fruit, coffee, buns or muffins. And research one caserole or coffee cake. Shouldn’t be too bad.
Happy Easter!!

I am doing a hunt for my 8 year old with a Wii game at the end in big egg, the other eggs are glow in the dark and these are my clues that work for our house, yours may differ for age and house features. Guiness is our bullmastiff by the way.
1 As you stand by your bedroom door, count the hangars there should be four.
2 Now you’re here turn away from the door, look to your left, and on the floor
3 You’re very close to finding the prize next look for undies in Daddy’s XL size.
4 Gross! You found an egg in the underwear, what can you find near Guiness’ chair?
5 You found the egg, but not the shoelaces, now look for the makeup for Mom’s many faces!
6 You may find the prize, it’s easy to do, 1st find the next egg, it is nearby a shoe.
7 Phew? This egg really stinks! The next one is easy, under one of the sinks!
8 Are you having fun yet, the end is not far, the next egg is sitting in a place in the car!
9 This hunt is crazy, this glow in the dark! The next egg sits where the computer is parked!
10 These hints seem written by a crazy old louse, before you get silly, look in the dawg’s
house,
11 The crate and the car! The answer’s not far, look for the next egg in the kitchen, a jar!
12 How long will this last, this hunt I don’t know, the next egg is where Mom keeps her dough!
13 Clues and eggs! It sounds too funny, the next egg looks out to that patio sunny!
14 You’re finding them all without a close shave, the next egg’s on top of the ol’ microwave!
15 Clever young man, you’re finding them all, did you look out the door near that nasty old ball?
16 You stayed in the hunt, the prize getting near, the next egg is where dad keeps the beer.
17 A few more to go, it’s lickity split, the next clue’s in the drawer where your jeans never fit.
18 Crazy this is, as Yoda would say, the next egg will be where the carpet is frayed
19 Speaking of Yoda, that funny old man, the next clue could be in his old frying pan.
20 The next to the last crazy clue this could be, the final clue rests right next to the Wii
21 Did we say the end, we’re always the fools! Did you look in a drawer where we keep all the tools?
22 Enough! Enough you don’t say! Be glad we don’t live in a house by the bay!
This one’s the last, the prize worth the search, the last clue resides where the cats always perch.
23 This is less fun than that crazy house elf, the best egg of all your closet, the shelf!
