I was thinking of doing crafts with the little kids there. 🙂
Im going to a park where there are horses and the adults are going
to hide the eggs but I think we should do something more than just
hide eggs and make the kids get them. I was thinking of doing crafts
with them so what kind of easter crafts do you recommend.
Anything will help, thankyou.
instead of doing a craft (something that will take a LONG time because each kid will have to work at his or her own pace) Can you get some face crayons and paint them some whiskers and teeth to make them look like bunny rabbits? And then have a bag of easter coloring pages and take home fun to do, so you’re not responsible for each child’s individual time.
Here are TONS of easter coloring pages, another thought could be to have a few big baskets of crayons sitting out with the coloring pages and let them come and go as they please to color their pages.

Have the kids make ‘baskets’ in which to put their hunted eggs. Get a package of unused brown paper lunch sacks and cut out a big hole in the upper half of the front and back to make it look like a basket with a handle. The hole is flat on the bottom and rounded on the top. If the kids are big enough, let them do the cutting. Otherwise, you cut them beforehand. Have decorations the kids can stick onto their baskets, or markers so they can color them, or some way for them to ‘make’ the baskets.
If you’re Christian, the kids could make crosses. Michaels and other crafts stores have nice wooden crosses this time of year. If you get one for each kid, and then get mosaic tile bits to be glued on, they’d have something they could really take home and admire when they’re done.
