Easter Idea Blog – Ideas for Easter Crafts, Easter Decorations, Easter Dinner and Easter Flowers

My organization (APO) holds an annual Easter party for the faculty’s children of my university. I need some crafts and games for the kids to do that aren’t too messy and do not take a lot of time. Any ideas?
I should have added this:

We do have an egg hunt thing, the egss are hidden in a bunch of straw that is kept to one area of the room. Its a big part of our event

here are some crafts:

Fluffy needs a tail
Make a Rabbit on poster board without a tail.
The children will rake turn “Pinning the Tail”
on the bunny, using Large Cotton balls and tape.

Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny, Where’s Your Egg?
Cut a Large paper egg. The players form a circle with one child in the middle as “the Bunny” The Bunny covers their eyes while a player is selected to sit on the egg. Then the Children Chant…
“Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny, where’s your egg?
Somebody stole it from your home!”
The Easter bunny then has three guesses to find the
child who is sitting on it. That child then becomes
the new bunny in the middle.

Bunny Hop
Play follow the leader with an Easter theme…
Start hopping and then add other movements as well.

Easter Relay
Divide the Children into two teams.
Provide each team with one spoon and
a marshmallow Chick or Plastic Easter Egg.

I used to enjoy decorating the shells of boiled eggs (using felt tipped pens) when I was in primary school. We always had a choice – we could decorate eggs or make an easter bonnet. The easter bonnets were made from old hats decorated with crepe paper, glitter, ribbon etc. The bonnets were then modelled by the maker and there was a prize for the winner of best egg & best bonnet.

Enjoy your day.x
