Easter Idea Blog – Ideas for Easter Crafts, Easter Decorations, Easter Dinner and Easter Flowers

I need a craft for Easter for children ages 3-5. I’ve seen all the paper plate empty tomb crafts on the ‘net and don’t really like them. Does anyone have a really neat craft for my kids? I have a restricted time frame, as well. So if the kids can’t spend more then 20 minutes on the craft.

I don’t know of any religious based craft ideas off the top of my head. But you could let them decorate bunny ears to wear. Just take a strip of posterboard or construction paper cut long enough to go around their head. Staple or tape the end to hold it in place. Let them decorate or color this band before taping together. Then let them color or decorate with stickers, etc, ear shaped pieces of construction paper and attach them to the headband.
Also, most craft stores have very quick and easy foam craft kits. As in they can make different things out of brightly colored pieces of foam. They usually have seasonal themed ones as well.

You could get teenytiny little clay pots, decorate them with easter stickers, and plant seeds (even grass seed would do) in them to represent new life.
