Easter Idea Blog – Ideas for Easter Crafts, Easter Decorations, Easter Dinner and Easter Flowers

I was wanting to make some tri bead and Pipe Cleaner craft with some kids and I can’t find anything on the internet about it. I was wanting them to be easter related or spring related too.

Thanks for all your help.

Do you already have the beads, or can you purchase any colors you may need? If you can get pastels, I would suggest a pale pipecleaner with pastel tri-beads on it. If you can’t get pastels, do the best you can with what you have.

You can make an Easter egg outline shape once the beads are strung onto the pipe cleaner, then glue a little Easter chickie or other plastic figure onto the bottom center of the egg shape. If you have the pipecleaner meet itself at bottom center, the figure will hide the joint spot. Tie a bow at the top with a pastel ribbon to hang your decoration.

If this is a Christian group for which you’re doing the craft, form the pipe cleaners into a cross shape and then let the kids string the beads onto them. Fold the ends over to keep the beads on. Tie a pretty ribbon onto the top folded-over end (fold the pipecleaner over the ribbon, if you can make that work) to hang your decoration. Glue a tiny artificial flower onto the cross at its center to hide the joint spot.
