Brownie Bottom Cheesecake

Notes:
This one is the best of both worlds.

Ingredients:
Brownie Bottom
1 stick butter
1 C. Sugar
4 squares Bakers Unsweetened Chocolate
2 eggs
1/4 C. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt butter and chocolate in a heavy pan over low heat, stirring constantly, cool. Add sugar and eggs, 1 at a time; mix until blended after each addition. Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir in combines flour and salt, mixing until just blended. Spoon into a greased and floured 9×3-inch spring form pan, spreading evenly. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Preparation:
Cheesecake
This is a simple recipe for cheese cake. It will mix up easier if you let your cream cheese soften a bit before you begin to mix it.

3 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
3/4 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 C. sour cream

Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing at low speed after each addition until well blended. Blend in sour cream, and pour over brownie bottom. Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool before removing from rim of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.

My family always has an egg shaped Easter egg ice cream cake.you just bake a rectangle cake ,any flavor you like, cut it in half through the middle ,unflavored dental floss works great for this, then cut the ends of the cake to an oval shape it doesn’t have to be perfect ,b/c you can fill it in with icing later.then you take a container of softened ice cream and layer it between the cake half’s.frost it and then the really fun part begins letting the kids decorate it to look like an Easter egg!
hope you enjoy it !HAPPY EASTER!!!!!

Easter cake.
It’s all about the food coloring. If you want to make it from scratch go for it but i like to do a short cut on the dessert because of all the cooking that i have to do, buy two of your favorite brand white cake the one that comes in a box add food coloring to the batter to make it whatever pastel color you like and get two containers of cream cheese frosting and add half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and whatever color to the frosting and frost the cake to make it even more festive looking you can get a bag of coconut flakes, it’s in the baking aisle put it in a Ziploc bag add 2 drops green food coloring and put it around the cake so it would look like grass and on top of the cake put two plastic eggs, jelly beans or even a chocolate bunny just be creative and have fun with it.

Bake one box of cake mix in 2 round 9" pans. Cool completely.

Cut each layer in half to make two half-circles (liek the letter "D"). Put icing between the layers then put onee half on top of the other. Stand them up on the cut sides, using more icing to glue them to the platter. Repeat w/ other layer. Now ice w/ white icing and you have the beginnings of 2 bunnies! These are really cute on a great big platter. Sprinkle some shredded coconut died green (just shake in a bag w/ a couple drops green food color) all around them like grass. Put deco’d eggs around them a few jelly beans, maybe some candy. Use 2 pink spoon handles (I get them from Baskin-Robbins) for ears. Make icing face, and use a Little Debbie Snowball in white for a tail, or just do an icing tail. Just very cute.

Banana Pudding, my sister gave me this recipe when she was a teen, she got it form a Bordens Sweet Condensed Milk Recipe on the can’s label. I cam across a similar recipe from Paula Steen from Food Network, it is almost the same except for the cream cheese(never used this, but wouldn’t mind) and the chessmen cookies (vanilla wafers). Enjoy!

Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding
Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 12 servings

2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies (vanilla wafers)
6 to 8 bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream

Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Flan! Here’s the recipe for ya:

First make the caramel:
3/4 of sugar, caramelize it on the stove top, try not to burn it…it’s easy for it to burn and you want a dark brown color. pour that into a bread pan (this is where you will bake the flan). Let this cool and move to the next step.

4 eggs
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of condensed milk
1 Teaspoon of vanilla
pinch of Cinnamon
1 pack of cream cheese

Put water bath in oven at 350
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth (almost like a milkshake & make sure there are not clumps of cream cheese) then pour the mixture over the cooled caramel. Put the bread pan carefully in the water bath and cook for about 40 mins. Until the center of the flan comes out clean when u poke with a knife (like you would a cake)

WHEN DONE PUT IN THE FRIDGE FOR ATLEAST 4 HOURS…DO NOT EAT WARM…IT DOES NOT TASTE GOOD. ENJOY!
