Easter Idea Blog – Ideas for Easter Crafts, Easter Decorations, Easter Dinner and Easter Flowers

I need some ideas for an easter basket for my son.

Also is there any kind of chocolate or candy ment for toddlers? Like low suger, no artificial sweetners, anything organic or whatever.

Last year for his first easter, I just got him a huge stuffed animal and a bunch of toys since he was only 7 months.

This year Im stumped on what to get for him.

Any Ideas Would Help!!!!

Since its the begging of spring we do the out side toys. This year our one year old will be getting a big tonka truck, chalk (We give each kid a different kind of chalk, he will be getting some with a chalk holder to make it easier on his hands) Bubbles (They make cute bubble blowers that just blow bubbles) and some new sandals. We put socks in the plastic easter eggs (Once they get older they love finding them! my two year old remembers from last year!) As far as candy for little ones go most of it is stuff I can eat lol…. and we do sugar free chocolate for our youngest, but we also let them splurge on the candy and chocolate for the week and toss it anything left away (Same with halloween candy) Safety pops are good and the right size for them. But you don’t really have to put in candy. How about animal crackers or even a box of jello and an egg cookie cutter, so you guys can make jiggers. Or maybe you could make cookies! Happy PreEaaster!

My now 17 month old daughter is getting an Easter basket with the following:

I found a chocolate shaped like a duck, and even colored yellow. I believe it is white chocolate. She will not get much, if any, of it but she loves ducks and I thought it was cute!

I also found some miniature duck-shaped bottles of bubbles at Wal Mart in the Easter section. She loves bubbles, so this was a great find!

She will also get a board book, stuffed animal, and other little trinkets.

For your son, little Hot Wheel/Matchbox/Tonka cars would be great (my son lived them, even at that age).

As for goodies to eat, I plan on including some of her favorites-animal crackers, goldfish crackers, etc. Just use your imagination!

When my son was that age I got him a couple of peices of candy but mostly I remember some cute little Easter stuffed animals and some small toys like bubbles, outside chalk and a little wind up chick that walked. At that age they are pleased with the simple things.
