my son is turning one march 26th and i want to make him some kind of easter basket or something. he was a newborn last easter so we didn’t do anything for him. i know that he can’t have candy or any of the normal easter basket stuff. i want to go ahead and start this tradition now. i think he’ll enjoy going through a basket of goodies. any ideas on what to put in it? what did you do for your childs first/second easter?

The first year we did nothing…a 1 year old will have no concept at all.

For my daughter first Easter she was 6/7 months old. We got her a cute little basket and then put a couple of toys in it. That was it, and maybe some "treats"-like Gerber puffs or zwieback’s.
This year we will probably do the same kind of thing only give her things for an 18/19 month old. Just give your son things that are age appropiate, with a couple of his favorite treats.
