Easter Idea Blog – Ideas for Easter Crafts, Easter Decorations, Easter Dinner and Easter Flowers

I’m doing Easter dinner for the in-laws. I’ll have a Honeybaked ham, and a roasted chicken. The picky eaters insist on mashed potatoes & corn. Deviled eggs will be done. Any ideas on veggies/sides to go with all this?

asparagus don’t go for the big spears, they are woody, small slender spears are way more tender

and heres a way to use up some of those easter eggs
FRESH SPINACH SALAD

Torn fresh spinach
4 to 5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Hard boiled eggs, diced
Chopped spring onions and tops

DRESSING:

1 c. salad oil
5 tbsp. red wine vinegar
4 tbsp. sour cream
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. fresh parsley (chopped)
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Mix spinach, bacon, eggs and onions in salad bowl.
Combine all dressing ingredients in quart jar and shake thoroughly. Better if made before hand and let blend.

Serve on individual servings or pour over spinach mix and toss. Leftover dressing can be refrigerated for later use.

Girlfriend, you need some color on that plate. How about some honey glazed carrots and some roasted red peppers?
