Depending on how many children will be attending the party, and how many of them have allergies, it would be fun to pick up a couple of bunnies and baby ducks from a local farm store. Most 3 year olds enjoy small animals. The easter egg hunt sounds great ! That, in itself may be entertainment enough.

step one: hire two teenagers from the neighborhood to help out, depending on how many children will be there.,
Let the kids decorate easter eggs.
coloring pages of easter designs
cake an ice cream
easter egg hunt
pin the tail on the easter bunny

You could just get some new toys and let the kids play for a lil while too. You don’t always have to be structured all the time.

Check this site: http://www.toddler-net.com/ There are some b-day ideas there that you can use. There are also crafts and games. Some can be easily adopted for Easter party.
Good luck!

And invite a friend who is at ease with kids and/or parties. Looks like you may need some help.

You can do bunny hop races too! Who ever gets to the finish line first as hopping like i bunny they can win candy.

I’m also having a birthday party on April 11th! My daughter is turning 2 and she was born on Easter Sunday.

I bought Easter plates and napkins and decorations. I’m having Easter themed cupcakes and an egg hunt for the kids. I’m getting Bunny decorated cookies too.

I’m inviting family and close friends. I’m also ordering pizza so I don’t have to worry about cooking. I’m having the egg hunt first, then open gifts then cupcakes and icecream. The adults can eat while the kids are running around.

TO LOOKING FOR ANSWERS: Animals are NOT toys. You don’t buy a live animal and use it for a party decoration. What are you going to do with a chicken or rabbit when it starts growing and isn’t cute anymore? Are you going to throw it in the trash or let it go into the wild?? Have some respect for other living creatures for christ’s sake.

Kids really love music! Something really cute is egg shakers (like you would have for a music class or a music party). They come in all sorts of pretty colors. And you can put on some children’s music & play with the kids.

Be careful about what kind you buy. Don’t buy the really cheap ones that will likely break. You want the kind of egg shakers that last (like what are used in a toddler music class).

You can find musical egg shakers at http://www.musictomyears.com/ChildrenMusicSupplies.html

If you are uncomfortable entertaining the kids yourself you can try to hire a children’s musician. I am a children’s musician, but I only work in Central & Northern NJ. I hope that you have a really fun party!
