Easter Idea Blog – Ideas for Easter Crafts, Easter Decorations, Easter Dinner and Easter Flowers

I have held on to my easter lily since easter and it remained green up until a few weeks ago. There are now green bulbs poking out from the surface, just under the dirt. I live in southwest Arkansas and have found out that I should plant them in Oct. How should I store them until then?

Just leave them in the pot until you are ready to plant. They’ll be fine.

Pull them out and put them in a paper bag and seal it. Store in a cool, dry place. Make sure you mark the bag as to what it is, so you know what you are planting when the season is here.

I got 2 Easter Lilies one year. After they bloomed I just left them in the pot until the weather cooled. They sat on the screened in back porch. Then I planted them. I now have at least 50. I just keep dividing them. I’m in NW Georgia. m
