Easter Idea Blog – Ideas for Easter Crafts, Easter Decorations, Easter Dinner and Easter Flowers

My friend is getting married 2 weeks after Easter, and would like to use leftover potted Easter lilies from the church for decorations/centerpieces. If you have experience with these plants, do you think they’ll last the 2 weeks after Easter and still have blooms on them for the wedding? I know they last longer when the pollen things are removed, and any other tips on helping them last that long would also be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!

The flowers might last if they are kept relatively cool, but normally I’d say no since the churches will have the flowers out for most of Holy Week. However, the blooms normally only last a few days at most so I really wouldn’t count on it.

The best way would be to get ones that still had unopened buds and hope they will bloom later.
