We used to make …
We used to make designs or write names on the eggs with white crayons BEFORE we dyed them, the dye won’t adhere to the writings and it made for really pretty eggs.
I used to love …
I used to love using a white crayon on the warm eggs before dipping them into the dye. Then the crayon just blocks the dye from dyeing the egg, so you’re left with your design. I used to think that’s why they put white crayons in the box when I was little…what else good are they right? lol
