Each year Presybterian church in Kernersville, NC has fundraiser making these peanut butter and coconut chocoloate covered eggs and I am trying to find the inside concoction to put into a cake to make like a almond joy cake and a peanut butter cake or brownies but can’t find the recipe thanks to anyone who can help me.

ALMOND JOY CAKE

1 box Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix

Bake as directed on box.

FILLING:

1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
24 lg. marshmallows
1 (7 oz.) can Angel Flake coconut

Combine milk and sugar; add marshmallows and heat until melted. Add coconut. Pour over cake while hot.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans

Mix sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil, add chips, stir until melted. Add nuts. Pour over cake. Just like an Almond Joy candy bar.

PEANUT BUTTER CAKE

1 pkg. Betty Crocker Moist Butter cake mix
18 oz. creamy peanut butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water

Cake – prepare cake mix as directed. Makes 4 thin 9 inch layers, cool.
Icing – Mix peanut butter, sugar and boiling water. Blend well. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to bubble. Cook for 20 minutes until mixture is smooth and creamy. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Stir while cooling. The icing will have a glossy finish. When cooled spread on cake.
