Get some figurines at the dollar store and some window clings.
They also have Easter pastel colored lights you can put up on a mantle.
There are also some paper Easter decorations you can tape up.
Also a vase with some daffodils. Or tulips or hyacinths.
I’m pretty naive in the subject, except for the fact that Easter lilies are my favorite. Wait, I mean Casablanca. Actually, I just love white strong scented lilies! : )
I agree with you I like the white fragrant lilies the best.
“Casa Blanca” is the name of a cultivar or clone of an Oriental hybrid Lily (Lilium hybrid). These are crosses between several species lilies from the Far East.
The Easter lily is a Lilium longiflorum a species from Japan & other islands nearby.
Other very fragrant white include Lilium regale and Lilium candida or the Madona Lily

Oriental hybrids like ‘Casa Blanca’ were crossed from Far Eastern species: L. auratum, L. speciosum, L. nobilissimum, L. alexandrae, L. japonicum, L. rubellum The Asian cultures have a long history of cultivating crosses between lily species so the exact crosses that led to the modern plants are not all known.
Hybrid Divisions – Modern hybrid lilies are grouped according to their parentage into nine divisions. The names of these divisions give a broad indication of the origins of the hybrids.
I Asiatic hybrids
II Martagon hybrids
III Candidum hybrids
IV American hybrids
V Longiflorum hybrids
VI Trumpet hybrids
VII Oriental hybrids
VIII Miscellaneous hybrids
IX Species ~ 100
they are my cousin’s kids and I usually get them a bag of candy, but that’s so boring. Do you have any neat idea? I don’t want to give them all different gifts cuz there’s so many. Just the same exact easter basket or gift. thanks.
Maybe a goodie bag filled with treats and buy the things in bundles, like candy, bouncy balls, jump ropes, hackey sacks, keychains, for the boys-hot wheels for the girls-necklaces,nail polish, earrings. Stuff like that. Or if you guys are Christian, you can get everyine a miniBible to show them what Easters all about
Already going to get a huge chocolate bunny, all his favorite candies, and I was going to get 12 plastic eggs and have cute little messages inside. What else could I do? Any creative or romantic ideas? I’ll be spending Easter with him too, just to throw that out there.
Make him an Easter Dinner….
Hide the eggs in really funky creative places.. [Not sure how old you are, idk, maybe under his pillow, in his undies drawer lol]
Make him go on like a scavenger hunt with the messages in the eggs..
Get him a big Easter pinata….
Idk my man LOVES anything Reese’s so, something Reese will never fail you!

My mother and I made this craft YEARS ago.
All I know is you blow up a ballon, wrapp it in crochette cotton (colour of your choice), boil sugar and water, let cool, smear on.
It goes like paper machee and then you cut a hole in the front and put “easter” stuff in it. Turns into a large meshie egg.
I just don’t know the specifics….how much sugar and water?, Do I wrap the ballon with cotton THEN pour or put the cotton in the sugar water then wrap…???
HELP!, I really want to do this craft with my kids!
I found a site that talks about yarn eggs:
http://jas.familyfun.go.com/crafts?page=CraftDisplayComments&craftid=11411
According to the site:
1. Ratio: Two parts sugar to one part water. Heated up and dissolved thoroughly
2. Wet yarn first, then wrap
3. You can use liquid starch, or craft glue (not regular glue) instead, but the sugar water method is sparkly.
Hope that helps!
