To preserve the life of an Easter lily in a warm climate, let the lily grow normally throughout the summer, but place it in the refrigerator during the winter for its dormant period. Grow Easter lilies in any climate with information from a sustainable gardener in this free video on gardening.

I have a 5 year old niece & a 3 year old nephew and I have no idea what to get them for Easter.
I’m thinking something smaller, like $10-20 each. They have MORE than enough toys and dolls, and they don’t watch a lot of TV. They like to do crafts with their mom, so if you can recommend some kind of craft kit that would work for those ages, that might work.
How about some flower, or vegetable seeds, a small pot, a package of soil & a watering can? You can buy them seperately, or they come in kits. Kids love to plant their own flowers, or vegetables & watch them grow, they also learn from it too.
My daughter needs an easter dessert for a party thursday and i want something easy and fun that 3-5 yr olds will eat! HELP?!
I recommend this site alot:

I did. I’m not quite finished yet but I got a good start last night. I wanted to leave my cute St. Patrick’s Day cutouts and window cling-ons up awhile longer but Easter’s kind of early this year so I thought I’d better get a jump on it.
yes i have i have alot of easter houses and i put lights into each one and then put little bunnies all around with green grass
I bought Easter Lilies today and I have never taken care of potted flowers before. I would actually like to plant it outside in my yard, but I have no clue how to care for this flower. I know how to water this flower, but that is as far as I can get. Can I plant it outside, when is the best time to plant it? Does it need to be in sunlight, out of the sun, best part of my yard to plant it?? Thanks for all your help!!
It won’t bloom again this year. In subsequent years expect it to bloom in early summer. It was “forced” to bloom for Easter this year, but will never bloom for Easter again.
As was said, don’t put it out until there is no more danger of frost. If you don’t know when that is, call a local nursery; they will tell you when the danger is over.
For Easter I usually make small easter gift baskets for my cousins. My boyfriend and I and some other family members went in and bought my 2 older cousins 6 and 5 a Wii since there was stolen. So I still need to get my little cousins who is 2 years old and is a boy and my 11 month old cousin whose a girl something. Any ideas? Something small as both their birthdays are coming up. Thanks!
Egg-shaped Play-Doh. During the Easter season, you can find cute little basket stuffers at retailers such as Target or WalMart. Toddlers love to play with Play-Doh so include a little 2 pack of egg-shaped Play-Doh in this year’s basket.
2. Easter bunny bouncy ball. Most small children love to ball with bouncy balls. Look for a ball that is either pastel colored for Easter or that contains a bunny inside the ball. Be sure to give bouncy balls that are large enough so that the child cannot swallow them. If it doubt, only give these toys to toddlers over age 3.
3. A small crayon pack and Easter themed coloring book. You really cannot go wrong with crayons in a toddler’s basket! Kids this age love to do artwork so encourage their creativity. Look for washable crayons for easy cleanup.
4. Choose one candy item. Rather than filling your toddler’s basket full of sugary treats, choose to add just one candy item. A small chocolate bunny is a good idea because you can break it apart and make it last for several days.
5. ABC magnets. Purchase a package of ABC magnets for your refrigerator for older toddlers. Your child will love learning the ABCs and making words on the fridge for weeks and months to come. This gift idea may not be appropriate for younger toddlers who still have a tendency to “taste” everything.
6. Add a small stuffed toy. If your child loves to cuddle with furry animals, add a Easter bunny to the basket. My toddler loves dogs so we’ll add a special Easter “doggie” to his gift basket. Choose a stuffed toy that your child will enjoy!

My family normally does leg of lamb for easter dinner but this year a different family member is cooking and she is making a ham. I want to find a way to bring a lamb dish in but as an appetizer. I don’t want anything like ground lamb. Any ideas?!
I don’t want to make something with ground lamb…
Frikadeller with ground lamb instead of veal and pork, topped with mushroom gravy, apple sauce and fried onions.
